What is Graphic Design?
It all starts with an idea that something can be designed to visually communicate a message or story using text, colors, texture, graphics and layout. I will take your idea as a starting point to create something different, interesting and beautiful so you will attract the attention you need for a successful project, business or event.
Where do we start?
It is important to have some kind of expectation when going into a graphic design project. We see so many ideas and inspirations scrolling through social media, or just driving down the street. Providing a sample or picture of something similar to what you are looking for is always helpful and can move the design process along faster. If you have no idea where to start, that is alright too. It will be a good idea for us to have a conversation on your style, office space or business so we can create a beautiful and great-looking design you will love.

I will guide you through the process from start to the finish of your project. I have had 20+ years of experience in project management and seeing a project through from start to finish is very rewarding. I like to plan out all the details, making sure to meet any deadlines or budget, and designed to impress. Having a project go smoothly requires good communication and good ideas, and every project is different with its own issues. Logo Design / Typography
As a business owner or event planner, you have a lot on your plate. I can help you create the perfect logo for your business or event. I can take your idea or thoughts and turn them into a logo to compliment your business mission statement or event meaning and purpose. I can also help you create a custom graphic that will add more color and style. First, I send you a few black and white mock-ups to choose from with my pricing. If you decide to proceed, I will then start working on colors, fonts and details to the logo until you are happy with the finished look. Every new logo will be designed specifically and perfectly for you to attract attention and help them remember your name. Your logo may be the next fashion or design statement. Imagine your logo on everything that can be promotional... the possibilities are endless
Typesetting
I have worked pre-press and typesetting for a few offset printing companies. We were responsible for typesetting documents, forms, business cards and more before they went to press. If you need a form designed, I can help create the file so you can just print them out and have clients fill them out or as a PDF that can be filled in and emailed. I can help you set up forms to gather information and forms to make sure you have the right information. Printed forms can be multi-paged copies to make sure everyone has the information as well.
File Preparation
If you already have a printer and you need help preparing the files needed to print or for production, I can help with that. Most printers will require a specific type of file or format to print from. I will be glad to help you prepare the file needed for production as well as getting it printed or produced. Learning about file formats can be confusing and time consuming. I can help you get the correct file type to your printer so they can produce a great looking reproduction of your file in print.
